Draw Your Own Cartoons

Learn the fundamentals of cartooning. Students will develop their own characters; draw multiple panel comic strips, one-panel magazine gag cartoons, and caricatures. Learn to construct heads, bodies, gestures, hands and feet. The business of cartooning also will be covered. Mike Valentine is a professional cartoonist. He most recently worked for Disney. Open to high school students.
